“Just browsing for now, thank you” is what I say when approached by a sales associate while I’m window shopping with no intention of making a purchase. And that’s about all I can say for these drool-worthy booties. But a girl can daydream. The beautiful form of these booties is truly something to behold, their sleek silhouettes, the carefully placed details, the unique design. They are like works of art…(Cue ‘back to reality’ sound effect.)

So here’s my issue, besides the fact that most of them are beyond my budget, the very same attribute that makes me swoon over them is a deterring factor when it comes to owning a pair. The elegance of these booties lies in their high heels. Unfortunately, I’m not a heel person. Don’t know if I’ll ever be. Anything over 4 inches makes me feel like I’m walking on stilts. So many of my girlfriends swear that it’s easier to walk on heels than flats. Say what?! How is that possible? I remember reading somewhere that Kim Kardashian found it “so uncomfortable” to wear flats when she was pregnant. (Did I really just quote Kim Kardashian?) Well, I suppose I don’t have to walk in them, just sit and look pretty. All issues aside, if any of them ever go on sale, I will pounce.
