Outfit Highlight: Winter White on Windowpane

IMG_5994rev1
Looking out the window, all I see is a bed of snow and it’s making me think of the color white and how I’ve been neglecting it lately. I love the idea of wearing white in winter. There is something so elegant and almost luxurious about it. I especially like the contrast between the white blazer against the windowpane print. If you browse thru my older posts, you will notice that I’m not big on prints, but this one makes a statement without being overbearing. As mentioned previously, I am obsessed with anything in grid or windowpane print this season. It would have been nice to be able take pictures outside but we’re buried in snow, not to mention the bitter cold temperatures. There’s no denying it, winter is here.

Today’s natural high: Albeit almost a week late, we celebrated our little one’s birthday with the extended family today. It was priceless to see the joy in her face as she opened each of her gifts. The uninhibited display of excitement in a child is truly precious.
