Good Finds

goodfinds_polaroid_bw_bg_3
There have been numerous times where I would find myself browsing online for hours and hours at a time in search of a specific item, often my latest obsession. Along the way I would stumble upon other really cool items that would catch my attention, whether it would be an inspiring quote, a practical tool that I knew would come in handy, an innovative idea, or simply eye candy. In my tunnel vision afflicted obsessive state, I would fail to bookmark these discoveries and instead just make a quick mental note to check back later. A couple of weeks later, I would find myself beating my head against the wall because, for the life of me, I could not remember where I had seen the doggone item. There have been way too many of these frustrating moments so I’m not taking any more chances. Whenever I come across a good find, I will pin it, luv it, clip it, bookmark it, whatever it takes for me to recall it for future reference. I thought I’d also share these gems with you because, I figure, if I have a need, appreciation and admiration for them, there is a good chance that some of you will as well.

I love the idea of using mason jars as cups. They’re perfect for parties, especially with those cute striped straws.

I was searching online for a Sangria recipe for my New Year’s Eve party and found way too many. This easy-to-follow chart helped me understand the essential components of a Sangria and come up with my own version for the party.

I found this Dreamlight about a year ago and thought about how much my girls would like it. This past summer we went camping for the first time as a family and I thought I’d bring it along. The girls had a lot of fun using it in the tent at night.

I’ve been searching for a pair of blue stud earrings for a while now and when I found these Turquoise Opal Rhinestone Stud earrings, I knew I had to check them out.

Today’s natural high: I’ve been sick for the past week or so and it was heartwarming to have my girls ask me if I was okay and if I needed anything every so often. My 9-year-old even made me breakfast one morning and hot tea a couple of times.
