If you’ve read my previous posts, I’ve mentioned that blue is my favorite color and that I’m drawn to monochromatic looks. This week’s outfit fits both categories. This time I thought I’d play with cool shades of blue more akin to spring and summer hues, including the pretty blue background. I wanted to give a shout out to Ashley from Fancy Stuff and Pretty Things for scouting out this cool blue backdrop and sharing it with me.

This outfit is perfect for moms like me who are always on the go because it rates high on comfort level, it’s chic and it’s fun. The Gap sweater is one of many spring pullovers that I’ve purchased this season. I like the fact that the back is a little longer than the front and keeps my behind covered. I love these Old Navy jeans with a slightly blue-gray tint. The fact that they’re mid-rise and very stretchy are definitely a plus. I have a feeling these Sam Edelman slip-on sneakers will be getting a lot of wear this spring and summer. They’re super comfy and I love the blue tint on it. I’ve been looking for a pastel blue shoulder bag and I found this Aldo one with the gold-toned hardware that I love. The sunnies? They’re just for fun. I bought them for a buck fitty at Forever 21. Just kidding, I just wanted to say that. They were six bucks. Not bad, huh?
