Outfit Highlight: The Stripe Dress + Shoe and Tell Link Up

Happy Monday, my friends!

For once, I can honestly say that I’m glad it’s Monday. I can finally get some peace and quiet. This past weekend was nothing short of exhausting. It started with my middle one throwing up all over the floor at gymnastics, which fortunately turned out to be a 24-hour bug, but unfortunately we did not escape it unscathed. My poor husband caught the bug. We celebrated two birthdays over the weekend, including my oldest daughter’s, which involved chaperoning a bunch of tweens at Dave and Buster’s. Need I say more?! I didn’t think I would have an outfit post today with my husband being sick but he was nice enough to offer to take pictures anyway.

So I’m keeping this one brief. I’m featuring three of my favorite things in today’s look: stripes, black and white and pops of color. I can’t say enough about this Eliza J shift dress. I am obsessed and I knew it was a great find when I had consensus among my three daughters that I should buy it. It’s beyond comfortable and fits perfectly. And the best part, it’s currently on sale for 40% off, so I would hop on over to here and place your order right this minute. I was also so happy to find this Banana Republic Envelope Convertible Crossbody. I love the design and color, and it easily converts into a clutch.

  1. Happy Monday to you too and thanks for hosting, today!

Love the B+W Striped Dress with those gorgeous shoes and all the pops of red. I am currently wearing/styling a B+W Striped Dress on the blog today, as well. =)

Have a great day! Ada. =)

  2. This is such a cool dress! I love the striped front, black back, and red detail. So unique! You always find the best stuff and look so polished.

  4. Oh no! I hate stomach bugs. I hope you are all well today. That dress is very cute with the red side detail and I love it with the bag and shoes. It all works together perfectly.

  5. Omg! I hope your family feels better. What a weekend! You need a drink!!! 😀 On another note, great striped dress paired with the red bag! You look amazing in this look.

  6. So sorry that you had a sick house….not fun at all. And glad you survived the Tween birthday!! Ha!! Not looking forward to that in a few years!! Black, white and red is my favorite combo…kinda dying over these heels!! 🙂

  7. Goodness. What a weekend! That sounds like my weekend 2 weeks ago! Dave & Busters sounds like a great party, but with tweens… whew, that would wipe me out! This striped dress is so unique with the red on the sides! I shop Banana Republic (ok, the outlet) a lot and that cross body bag has such a neat design to the front and the red color goes great with that dress. And, your husband did great on the photos, even though he was sick! Hope he is better by now!

  8. That dress is adorable! I always look forward to Thursdays to see your outfits. 🙂 Thank you for sharing at Thursday Favorite Things. Hope you have a fabulous day!

  9. I love the red stripe on this dress! What a fabulous detail and very flattering! Thank you so much for linking up with our new Charming Friday today! I hope you enjoy a blessed weekend! Susan

  10. Hope everyone in your family is feeling much better this week, Cynthia.
Wow – this dress is amazing! I loved the front, but when I saw the sides and back I was just mesmerized! Soooo perfect. Thanks so much for linking up with our first Charming Friday link-up! Have a great week!

  11. I hope that your hubby is feeling better and it didn’t spread to more family members. My hubby’s had a cold for about 3 weeks and surprisingly, both my son and I have not caught it.

I love this stripe dress with the touch of color and what perfect heels with it!
