Outfit Highlight: Beach Dreaming + GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday, my friends!

It was a hot and humid weekend but I’m not complaining. I’ve been waiting for this kind of weather for too long. When it feels sticky outside, there is only one place I want to be…at the beach. When you can’t take the heat anymore, you can just take a refreshing plunge into the ocean water. I don’t know if it’s because I grew up in Rio enjoying the white sand beaches of Brazil, but the beach always feels like home to me, peaceful, relaxing and carefree.

Well, I must have been daydreaming about the beach when I put this outfit together. I paired this sheer cotton mini-stripe popover with a crisp white eyelet skirt along with Soludos espadrilles to finish the look. I also ditched my usual rose tinted shades for ocean blue tinted sunnies. This whole look just made me want to hop on the minivan with the fam and drive to the beach. Unfortunately, being in SE Michigan, the nearest decent lake beach is about 3 hours away so that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
