Who’s excited about the current surge of sporty chic styles in the fashion world? I, for one, am beyond ecstatic. The sporty chic trend got its debut in the realm of men’s fashion about 3 years ago when we started to see tailored suits paired with statement sneakers popping up among celebrities and the fashion savvy crowd. I thought it was a cool trend and instantly took a liking to it but somehow, women’s fashion didn’t catch up to it right away. We did see the introduction of colorful retro sneakers by mainstream brands like Nike and New Balance a couple of years ago but it’s not until recently that the fashion world has exploded with a plethora of choices when it comes to cool kicks. I’m exploring the top 5 hottest sneakers trends below.
