Happy Monday, my dear friends!
I’m sure you all agree that this summer is flying by. Most of me doesn’t want the summer to end, but there is a small part of me that longs for a more structured schedule that comes with the school season so that I can have a little more time to myself and this blog. I’m sure my wish will become reality before I know it. And then I’ll long for summer again, the grass is always greener…
One of the things I can rely on every season is this classic color palette. Black, white and olive have always been favorites of mine no matter which season I’m in. I’m surprised I haven’t featured more of this color combo. And since it’s summer, I thought it appropriate to add a splash of blue via the accessories. You can’t tell in these pictures but I’m also wearing blue toenail polish. There are two items I’d like to highlight: the “No One is Perfect” tee from Forever 21 has been my go-to top since the spring; and the Kendra Scott necklace is one of my successful purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I have a feeling it will soon become my go-to necklace for the rest of this season and next.
