Outfit Highlight: Something Old Something New

Happy Monday, my friends!

There was not an idle moment this past weekend. It was one of those non-stop on-the-go kind of weekends starting with lunch with girlfriends, a family birthday celebration, a church picnic and then dinner with friends. Although I was exhausted by the end, I’m not complaining. This is what life is all about, isn’t it?

This outfit, that I wore to a casual dinner with some friends, is a mixture of old and new items. I was so happy that I was able to pair something old with something new and make them look like they naturally go together. The J.Crew embroidered flutter sleeve tee is a fairly recent purchase and it went perfectly with my old J.Crew Factory linen skirt. I am obsessed with these new cognac lace-up sandals that I got from Aldo. They’re super comfortable and the lace-ups just give them that extra flair. My Rebecca Minkoff satchel is from several seasons ago but I thought it worked out perfectly with this outfit.

On a different note, this past Wednesday, there was a major spike in my traffic. It was traffic mainly going to this post about my summer dress and bag. Google Analytics tells me it’s from an email/newsletter but it doesn’t give me any more information. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out?
