Happy Monday, my friends!
We had a packed weekend, starting off with a date night to celebrate our 14th anniversary, an impromptu gathering at our place to watch the Michigan vs Michigan State game (crazy final play!) and our annual trip to the cider mill. My husband planned our date night this time and decided to take me to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for a night of Beethoven. Although I’ve always appreciated classical music, we haven’t gone out of our way to attend classical music concerts. I feel like I’ve been missing out because I thoroughly enjoyed it. Happy Labor Day!
Hope you’re all enjoying a relaxed day off with your family and friends. I am definitely planning to do just that before the craziness of the first day of school tomorrow.
I was actually planning to feature a more fall appropriate outfit today but we were in the high 80s all weekend and I just couldn’t bear the thought of adding more layers on a hot sunny day. Besides, this is probably my last chance to wear a cute summer dress. This BCBGeneration dress was one of those dresses that I wore a couple of times and then forgot about it. It’s always nice to re-discover an item that’s been hiding in your closet. I did opt for a more fall-like pair of shoes, my favorite blue booties. My transition to fall has been very slow but I’m in no hurry. Continue reading
