Outfit Highlight: A Dress for All Seasons

If you’re like me, you almost never buy anything at full price. Even if I can afford it at full price, I usually wait for it to go on sale. It just doesn’t feel as good as snagging a bargain. The only drawback is that I have to wait to get what I want and by the time I get it, it’s closer to the end of the season, which means I don’t get much wear out of it for that season. That’s totally not the case for this Madewell dress. I was eyeing this dress for a while and I snatched it as soon as it went on sale about a week ago. This dress is the epitome of versatility. I’m showing you two different ways to style this dress, suited for summer and then transitioning into fall. But I can easily see myself layering it over a cute long tee and leggings for winter and then wearing it with a light denim jacket in the spring.

It looks like I wasn’t the only that had my eyes on this dress because it sold out pretty quickly, but they might still have a few left at the stores. You can also call them to do a search for you. I’m telling you, ladies, it’s worth it!

  1. In love with your outfits!
I have been eyeing off green vests for a while and I think you have convinced me to take action and purchase!

  2. I knew when I saw this on instagram yesterday that I would love it, and I do! It is a great dress. I love the second fall version mainly because those booties are to die for! I am so ready for fall because it means boots! 🙂 Hope you had a great weekend!

  3. I’m with you, sometimes things are too cute to wait for a sale, like this dress. I also a agree that a sale makes mr feel good too 🙂

  4. I am like you – I never buy anything full price (well almost never). This dress is a classic though. This year I have purchased some Dresses at full price at H&M so I too make exceptions. They were all very nice and great deals anyway.

Love how you styled this dress. The sneakers and the booties are both gorgeous. The layered look with the vest is my favorite, I, too, need an Olive Utility Vest. Check out my post today, I also took one dress and styled it two different ways. Hope you like it. Thanks.

    Have a great week Cynthia!!

  5. definitely a versatile dress and i love how you styled it both ways! (and me too…. i wait and wait for the item to go on sale!)

  7. Very cute dress. The first option is very simple and sophisticated look I love the fact that you paired it off with the vans it makes it casual. My favorite is the second option because I see myself wearing the same thing! love it.

  8. What a great dress! Love it on it’s own for summer but my favorite is how you styled it for fall! Those booties are such a great color and the the vest and necklace give it an edgy look!
