I am currently on a mission to find the perfect tan knee-high boots. It’s late in the game but in the beginning of the fall season, I tried to convince myself that I was all set with tall boots. I have a handful of go-to boots in different colors that I wear all the time. Since I already have a pair of tan boots, albeit outdated, I had been turning a blind eye every time I ran into a pair of tan boots online or at a store, or on a friend or passerby. Well, that didn’t last very long. The more I saw them, the more I just couldn’t stay away. And so my hunt begins…
I can’t seem to decide whether I want riding boots, heeled boots or over-the-knee boots. They all seem to be the right choice for different reasons. I’ve tried several over-the-knee boots and I just don’t feel like they work for me, although I love them on everyone else. I probably won’t go for the OTK boots but I’m still holding out a glimmer of hope that I might find the right magical pair for me. In the end, my final choice will be based on a combination of style, quality and price.

I have two pairs of tan boots, one with a wedge heel, which is just a little dressier… and a pair of riding boots. I spent a lot more on the wedge heeled one, the riding ones I knew I’d wear every day and they’d be for a more casual look, so I spent $40 on them at Gap Outlet. These are all nice picks!!
I have the Born Roxie in black and love them. I’ve been thinking of buying the tan ones too because I saw that Nordstrom had them on sale. I’ve had mine for a few years now, so they hold up well.
I actually just bought the Born Roxie. Couldn’t resist the sale. I really like them but I always have to think about it for a few days before I commit.

I have the Sam Edelman Penny boot and love them! I’m not sure about the OTN either. I love it on everyone else but have not found a pair that work for me. Have a great weekend!

I love all the ones you picked. I am actually in the hunt for OTK tan boots and the Sam Edelman boots you chose above I really like. You should try a pair of high heeled OTK boots and see what you think. I personally think you will look great. I also like the Frye ones very much, I mean…. I like them all, you have awesome taste!
