I’m loving the wide range of mixed media styles that I’m finding everywhere lately. I bought this dress about a year ago hoping that the faux leather and tweed combination would not be a thing of the past by my second time wearing it. I wore this outfit recently to a fundraiser dinner to benefit the Global Children Foundation. It ended up being a girls night out for a good cause. To my pleasant surprise, this mixed media trend seems to be here to stay with new combinations emerging every day. I love the quilted sleeves and boucle pairing on this zippered peacoat, which gives it a modern edge. To finish the look, I chose the Coach Haley satchel with pewter leather front and black patent leather accents.
