I don’t know if it’s because of the continuous frigid temperatures that we’re having but I am seriously ready for spring right about now. I have this urge to go through my closet and put away all my bulky winter sweaters and long pants and pull out the flowy silk blouses and leg baring skirts. I especially want to be able to wear shoes without socks like these beautiful blue suede pumps!
So I didn’t quite get to put away the winter sweaters, who am I kidding, I’m in Michigan! But I did go through my closet and found two old gems collecting dust. I swear I think these are more than a decade old. Shall I call them vintage? Both the sheer cropped sweater and the wool skirt are old Banana Republic favorites of mine. I love it when I can revive old items in my closet and give them a fresh look by adding new accessories.
Today’s natural high: I attend a women’s Bible study every Monday night. We hadn’t met in over a month due to the holiday break as well as bad weather and sickness for me personally. I finally got to go back this past Monday and it was such a blessing. I really enjoy this group in particular because we have women from all walks of life and I love hearing their insight on the wisdom they’ve been gaining from the Bible.

Love all of this! The flats and clutch are the perfect finishing pieces!
And yes, I vote that 10 years counts as vintage 🙂
