I was so happy to finally be able to wear this Madewell Afternoon dress, their signature dress that they seem to offer every spring in different colors and stripes. As I was putting together this outfit though, I realized I probably could have worn this dress in the winter by layering and adding black tights, which always works well with cream or ivory. Oh well, there’s always next winter. This polished casual chic look would be perfect for a lunch break date with the hubby or an afternoon coffee with girlfriends. It’s also comfortable enough to walk around the mall for some shopping afterwards. I’m always looking for versatile dresses and this one definitely falls into that category.

Thanks lady!
You look so chic, fresh and crisp in this white sheath. I love that you added the button-down underneath it Cynthia. Your bracelets and necklace are so pretty.
Hope you enjoyed your weekend. <3 Ada.
Thanks, Ada! You always have such nice things to say.
This is a fun way to see two ways to wear this dress…one here and one on Carylee’s page. 🙂 And you did a really great job of styling it in totally different ways! LOVE the shoes and pinstriped shirt here.

What a pretty little dress. Very simple yet chic. The shoes are really spectacular and add a style pop to the outfit.
I’m so happy about this! You really made this dress transform! Those are the best kinds of pieces and most versatile. This would be a great dress to pack also since it’s multi-purposeful! Thank you so much again for filling in for me today! Both looks are perfect!
