If you’re like me, you almost never buy anything at full price. Even if I can afford it at full price, I usually wait for it to go on sale. It just doesn’t feel as good as snagging a bargain. The only drawback is that I have to wait to get what I want and by the time I get it, it’s closer to the end of the season, which means I don’t get much wear out of it for that season. That’s totally not the case for this Madewell dress. I was eyeing this dress for a while and I snatched it as soon as it went on sale about a week ago. This dress is the epitome of versatility. I’m showing you two different ways to style this dress, suited for summer and then transitioning into fall. But I can easily see myself layering it over a cute long tee and leggings for winter and then wearing it with a light denim jacket in the spring.
It looks like I wasn’t the only that had my eyes on this dress because it sold out pretty quickly, but they might still have a few left at the stores. You can also call them to do a search for you. I’m telling you, ladies, it’s worth it!

Do it, you’ll love it! Thanks for stopping by, Lauren.
I love posts like this with two different styling options for the same piece. I don’t normally think of a little white dress as a fall item, but your styling with the vest and booties make it SO fall-perfect. Love it!
Gina – On the Daily Express
You can’t really see it on the pictures but it’s actually a very light heather gray, which makes it a little more appropriate for fall. Thanks for stopping by, Gina!
I’m totally in love with the second look. I love the way you styled it with the belt, booties and blue bag. Super chic!

I know, it’s so hard to wait sometimes. When it’s a classic piece that I love and that I know is not going to go on sale, I make an exception. Thanks for stopping by, Miriam!
I’m with you, sometimes things are too cute to wait for a sale, like this dress. I also a agree that a sale makes mr feel good too 🙂

I am like you – I never buy anything full price (well almost never). This dress is a classic though. This year I have purchased some Dresses at full price at H&M so I too make exceptions. They were all very nice and great deals anyway.
Love how you styled this dress. The sneakers and the booties are both gorgeous. The layered look with the vest is my favorite, I, too, need an Olive Utility Vest. Check out my post today, I also took one dress and styled it two different ways. Hope you like it. Thanks.
Have a great week Cynthia!!
Thanks, Ada! Love your comments.

Great outfit. The canvas of your pretty and comfy white dress is perfect for how you styled it, more casually with the olive vest and so cute slip ons , also love the belt, to takin it a bit more dressy with the blue boots. Fab!

Love that dress on you, Cynthia! I love the simplicity and versatility of a shift dress, but it just doesn’t work too well on a pear shaped gal like myself. On you? Perfection! Great photos too, dear!

Very cute dress. The first option is very simple and sophisticated look I love the fact that you paired it off with the vans it makes it casual. My favorite is the second option because I see myself wearing the same thing! love it.
