The weather is being nice and cooperative these days. Weekend temperatures have been a little more mild, which works for me because I do my photo shoots over the weekend.
Initially, I envisioned wearing an all-gray outfit because I’m a big fan of monochromatic looks and they typically work beautifully. For whatever reason, for this particular outfit, I just felt like something was missing. So I decided to add little pops of color via the accessories. I’m loving the creative ways that scarves are being worn lately so I thought I’d give it a try as well. I’ve had these gray Madewell jeans for a while now so I’m glad I finally get to feature them on the blog. The shade of gray was what caught my eye at first and when I tried them on, I knew I had to get them.

Hello Cynthia! Love the way you spiced up that monochromatic look. Super creative and very clever. I don’t own that many (or any) winter scarfs but I would like buy one or a couple:-) Hopefully soon! I really like the pops of color in your outfit especially the bag and the shoes. And the layering effect that beautiful J Crew jacket worn on top creates is super chic! Thanks for sharing. I am so glad you decided to include pops of color! I have been seeing everyone do myriads of grey, and it’s got me itching to try, but for the life of me, I can’t seem to find my H&M grey jeans! I guess I’ll have to ‘invest’ in another pair 😉

Those jeans look like they fit you so perfectly! While I love a good monochromatic look, sometimes a bright pop of color is a welcome addition.
