Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good Easter.
Unlike past Easters, I was actually able to wear the outfit that I had planned to wear. I purchased this lilac circle skirt a while back at Nordstrom because I loved the way it fit. I was also intrigued by the color because I had never purchased a skirt in lilac, aka as violet, lavender, mauve, or light purple. Unfortunately, it just didn’t seem to pair well with any of the tops that I had in mind. I tried neutrals like black and white and I also tried to stay within the same hue but it just didn’t seem to work, so I just tucked it away in my closet for another day. Then I spotted the color lilac featured in different magazines and blogs and it was being paired with all sorts of different colors. I decided to give it another try starting with a top in my favorite cobalt blue. Blue always seems to work out for me. No wonder it’s my favorite color.
I know a lot of people celebrate Easter with a big dinner with family and/or friends, a fun egg hunt for the kids and some even give out gifts. We keep it pretty simple in our family. We put on our Sunday best, go to church and fellowship with our church family. For me personally, I sometimes feel like all the festivities and the preparation that comes with it, albeit fun, can distract me from what Easter is truly all about, celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. How do you celebrate Easter? Do you keep it low-key or go all out?

I would never have thought to pair it with cobalt blue and what a wise choice! It looks great. Your family is just beautiful, btw… you got the sweetest pic of y’all for Easter! 🙂
YOU LOOK GREAT! love the colour of the top! <3
What a gorgeous outfit! I love how the heels tie together with the top and the necklace is the perfect compliment. Your family is so sweet. I love the photo of you all together. I think your Easter sounds like the perfect way to celebrate. Sometimes big meals and plans can make it all more stressful. We don’t have one set thing, and this year we kept it simple after church too. It was nice.

Aww you and your girls look beautiful! and I love how you just played it low key as most people I know (save my parents and siblings) normally go all out on Easter. We did alot of egg hunts and baskets and dressing up of course for church. But it is rough keeping Christ in the center on Easter which is why church service was a reminder and God’s beauty radiated through the day and nice weather as a sweet reminder of His rising as well.

We used to celebrate Easter all out when I was still in the Philippines but now we just keep it low key and try to see family on that day. 🙂 That skirt is super cute! Don’t you hate it when nothing seems to look great with it?!

You and your 3 little ladies looked beautiful for Easter. In love with your skirt and top. A while back I found a similar quilted, cream midi skirt but it was 2 sizes too big, unfortunately.
I am glad it was a great holiday for your family. What are your girls’ names?
Hello beautiful Cynthia! Your Sunday look was “perfection” to me. As a skirt love I have to say that the lilac skirt you are wearing is super beautiful and I want it for myself! I am glad you had an amazing weekend with your lovely family and that you got to spend quality time. I spent my weekend in Sarasota, FL watching my oldest daughter race with her UF women crew team. I also got to watch a beautiful sunset which to me was worth spent reflecting time. You have a beautiful family Cynthia:-) God bless you all! XOXO, Jeannette
