Happy Monday, my friends!
For once, I can honestly say that I’m glad it’s Monday. I can finally get some peace and quiet. This past weekend was nothing short of exhausting. It started with my middle one throwing up all over the floor at gymnastics, which fortunately turned out to be a 24-hour bug, but unfortunately we did not escape it unscathed. My poor husband caught the bug. We celebrated two birthdays over the weekend, including my oldest daughter’s, which involved chaperoning a bunch of tweens at Dave and Buster’s. Need I say more?! I didn’t think I would have an outfit post today with my husband being sick but he was nice enough to offer to take pictures anyway.
So I’m keeping this one brief. I’m featuring three of my favorite things in today’s look: stripes, black and white and pops of color. I can’t say enough about this Eliza J shift dress. I am obsessed and I knew it was a great find when I had consensus among my three daughters that I should buy it. It’s beyond comfortable and fits perfectly. And the best part, it’s currently on sale for 40% off, so I would hop on over to here and place your order right this minute. I was also so happy to find this Banana Republic Envelope Convertible Crossbody. I love the design and color, and it easily converts into a clutch.

Thanks for sharing at Creative Mondays..
Goodness. What a weekend! That sounds like my weekend 2 weeks ago! Dave & Busters sounds like a great party, but with tweens… whew, that would wipe me out! This striped dress is so unique with the red on the sides! I shop Banana Republic (ok, the outlet) a lot and that cross body bag has such a neat design to the front and the red color goes great with that dress. And, your husband did great on the photos, even though he was sick! Hope he is better by now!
totally love that dress!

I hope that your hubby is feeling better and it didn’t spread to more family members. My hubby’s had a cold for about 3 weeks and surprisingly, both my son and I have not caught it.
