Outfit Highlight: Romper Dilemma + Exciting News!

Happy Monday, my friends!

I think the warm temperatures are finally here to stay. Yay! And for that reason, I finally got to wear my romper. So this was a tough decision, ladies. I couldn’t decide between two rompers for the longest time. When both Rachelle and Charnele mentioned this romper on their posts, I knew I had to pay Loft a visit to try it on. Tried it on. Loved it. Bought it. Then I found this Banana Republic romper and also fell in love. I must have tried each one of them more than a half a dozen times.

Aesthetically, I really like them both. The material was equally satisfactory on both, although the Loft one felt a bit lighter but not too noticeably so. After the promotions, they were in the same price range. I even asked my girls for their opinion but they couldn’t decide either. It came down to this, my friends…snap buttons. Yes, the convenience of snap closure buttons, which the BR romper provided. When nature calls, I wanna be able to tear away at those buttons like an NBA pro and their tear-away pants. When a girl’s gotta go, a girl’s gotta go. Can we talk about the backpack for a minute? I like to carry small backpacks once in a while, especially when I’m traveling, and when I saw this cute backpack at Target at a great price, I had to get it.

Last but certainly not least, I have EXCITING NEWS! Last week, I received an email from the REDBOOK team congratulating me for being one of the 25 finalists in the 2015 REDBOOK Real Women Style Awards! When I read the email, my heart skipped a beat. I couldn’t believe it! Exciting things like this don’t happen to a midwest suburban mom of three like me very often, so you can imagine my excitement. Your support would mean the world to me.   28. Hello Cynthia! Love the romper and love the way it looks on you. I have a love/hate relationship with rompers; I love the way the fit and look but totally dislike the struggle I go through every time I visit the ladies room. I own a romper from BR that I love very much but don’t wear much. It doesn’t have snap buttons like yours. The snap buttons could be a potential solution to the problem and will definitively make the process a lot easier:-) You look amazing wearing the romper and the way you styled is just perfect.
