I was once (or twice) criticized for wearing too much black. I would explain how it all goes back to where I grew up. You see, I spent the better part of my adolescence in Queens, New York, where I ran (wanted to run) with Asian gangster wannabes and naturally opted for attire that consisted of black on black and more black. There didn’t seem to be any other choice if you were trying to look cool and intimidating. I’ve since tried very hard to incorporate color into my wardrobe, which, I’m proud to say, has been successful…to a certain extent. But there is something about black that always seems to draw me in. It’s got that inherently sophisticated, understated, cool vibe that you just can’t deny. Besides, you can’t go wrong with black. It practically goes with everything. So here I am, back to black and lovin’ it!
