I have to admit, I’m more of a summer girl, but there are certain things about the fall season that I look forward to every year. I love the warm autumn colors, the changing foliage, honey crisp apples, pumpkin patches, and most of all our annual visit to the Franklin Cider Mill. It’s a family tradition and, believe me, we would never miss an opportunity to savor warm donuts and fresh apple cider. The cider mill is one of those places that you never get tired of visiting. This particular one has a little stream that runs through it where all the ducks congregate; and my daughters take delight in watching them fight over the crumbs of bread diligently thrown at them.
Here in Michigan, it gets pretty chilly around this time so a warm cozy sweater jacket and layers were a must, at least for me, since I’m very sensitive to even the slightest hint of cold. I love the versatility of this Vince sweater jacket; you can wear it in so many different ways. And it’s so easy to just throw on as you head out the door without much thought because it pretty much goes with anything. By the time my hubby and I were done taking pictures, the donuts were nowhere to be found.
