I’ve been fighting a bad cold all week and it’s been exhausting. The fact that temperatures just decided to drop about 15 degrees did not help. I’m just thankful I had enough of my energy back to take these pictures. But I’m keeping this one short because I still have some resting to do.

I had planned to wear this olive tunic with just the leggings and a pair of strappy heels but it was a bit too chilly for my taste so at the last minute I decided to add the fur vest and booties. I mentioned in my last Weekend Wish List post that I’m loving olive this season and I think this outfit is a perfect example. I have a feeling this Lush olive tunic and the Zara booties are fast becoming my go-to items for this season. Continue reading

Like many of you, I’ve been taking in all the beautiful fall colors in the world of fashion. As you’ve seen in my fashion posts, I’m loving earth tones and jewel tones. I’m also looking forward to adding a few items to my wardrobe in my all-time favorite fall color, burgundy. Last week I talked about jewel tones being one of my favorite hues for fall. This week I’m talking about another one of my favorite color palettes, earth tones and neutrals. There is something calming, grounding and timeless about these hues. They are appropriate for any season but they seem especially well suited for fall. Earth tones remind us of the intrinsic beauty of nature and what it offers not only thru colors, but also thru textures, patterns, etc. Continue reading
